Upon arriving at the hospital, visitors are greeted with the option to valet park for free. Once inside, visitors often think they’ve entered a beautiful hotel due to the natural light pouring in from soaring windows and various patient portals that welcome patients and their families. Our goal is to make our patients and visitors as comfortable as possible no matter what their medical condition may be. Community outreach
Methodist Hospital Stone Oak is first and foremost a community hospital serving Stone Oak and San Antonio’s north-side neighborhoods. To organize our outreach and maximize our contribution to the neighborhood, the hospital relies on the counsel of our Medical Executive Committee and community board. We regularly host events on campus and in the community that focus on health promotion and disease prevention.

The direct anterior approach serves as an alternative to traditional hip replacement surgery. After surgery, patients typically experience less pain, a faster recovery and improved movement.
